Pistachio Cream Cheese Fingers

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 package cream cheese, softened
3 squares semisweet chocolate
1 package instant pistachio pudding mix
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp shortening
tsp salt

1. Cream the cream cheese, sugar and butter.

2. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs.

3. Combine the pudding, salt, baking powder and flour.

4. Stir this mixture into the creamy mixture.

5. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

6. Grease baking sheets.

7. Shape teaspoons of the dough on the sheets, forming finger shapes.

8. Bake for about 12 minutes, until lightly browned.

9. Melt the chocolate and shortening in a saucepan.

10. Drizzle the finger-cookies with chocolate.

11. Let cool then serve.
