Mackerel In Spicy Lime Sauce

5 mackerels, about 100 grams each
10 hot chilies, lightly crushed
2 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp lime juice
6 cups water


Scale the mackerels, slit down the middle and remove insides and gills. Wash thoroughly and drain.

Bring the water to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat. Add the fish and boil until done.

Season with fish sauce, lime juice and chili; remove from the heat.

Arrange the fish on a serving dish, spoon the sauce over, garnish with slices of lime and some green leaves, serve immediately.
